Abstract
Institutions and Doctoral Thesis’ in Indonesia And Malaysia That Study Islamic Law
This paper will give information about the institutions in the South-East Asia especially in Indonesia and Malaysia which have published Islamic Law dissertations or theses. Also, this paper will analyze which topics were concentrated and which institutions are important in this country since they have known as Muslim-majority countries in the world. In addition, we will also try to explain the details about the institutions and will also examine the thesis that is published by the institution’s media. Additionally, the example of the implementation of shariah in Aceh is going to be analyzed in terms of when, by whom, and with what background the system was established. Therefore, this paper will contain an adequate information about it.
