Abstract
Classification of doctoral Theses Made in the Field of Islamic Law in Cairo University
Egypt has been one of the important centers of Islamic sciences for centuries. Today, studies are carried out in the field of Islamic sciences with many universities it has. In this study, a general analysis of the doctoral theses made in the field of Islamic Law in Cairo University Dâru'l-Ulûm Faculty, which is one of the deep-rooted faculties of Egypt, has been made. The theses have been classified under six main headings, namely fiqh method, worship, treatment, comparative law, sociology of law and history of law in terms of their content, and a general evaluation has been made at the end of the study.
