Abstract
Ta’zir Punishment in Islamic Law
In this article, initially, the concept of ta’zir punisment has been tried to explained briefly, the nature and legitimacy of ta'zir penalty is discussed. Then the characteristics of ta’zir punishment has been mentioned, the types of ta’zir punishment has been described as detailed as possible. Finally, criminal offence of ta’zir punisment, the discretion of the judge and the conditions for the application of ta’zir punishment have been stated. The article has finalized with evaluating the data obtained during the study.
