Özet
Geçmiş zamanlardan günümüze dek, geniş bir coğrafyada ve muhtelif milletler arasında uygulanagelen İslam Hukuku, diğer isimleri ile Şeriat veya Fıkıh, hem tarih hem politika ve bahusus Hukuk alanında çalışma yapan akademisyenlerin dikkatini çekmiştir. Mukayeseli hukuk metinleri hazırlayarak güncel sorunlara farklı çözümler geliştirmek, tarihi olaylara nitelikli yorumlar yapabilmek, yeni hukuki terkipler oluşturmak gibi çeşitli faydaları bulunan bu alanda; araştırmacılar, çeşitli makleler ve tezler ile katkıda bulunmuştur. Biz bu çalışmamızda ABD’de hazırlanan doktora tezlerini derleyerek bu alanda araştırma yapmak veya bilgi sahibi olmak isteyen ilgililerin istifadesine sunduk. İşlenen konuların eksik yönlerini veya üzerinde yoğunlaşılan konuları tespit ederek sonuç kısmında bu tespitlerimizi aktardık.

Abstract
Islamic Law, which has been applied in a wide geography and among various nations, has attracted the attention of academics who work in the field of law, history and politics. In this area, which has various benefits such as developing different legal solutions to current problems, making qualified comments to historical events, creating new legal compounds by preparing comparative legal texts; The researchers contributed with various articles and theses. In this study, we tried to present the doctoral dissertations prepared in the USA and to present to the benefit of those interested in doing research or knowledge in this field. We have identified the missing aspects of the topics covered or the issues that are focused on.
